Big Love Rocket- shot

A "Love is in the Air" themed shot reminiscent of a cherry cordial.

• 2 parts Godiva chocolate flavored liqueur
• 1 part amaretto
• 1 maraschino cherry, plus a little of the liquid

Place the maraschino cherry and cherry liquid in a shot glass and add the amaretto. Over the back of a spoon, slowly pour in the Godiva chocolate liqueur. Don't swallow the cherry with the shot, save it to eat afterward (if you make this shot for someone else, make sure they know it's there).

Lifebloom Mojito

Mojito with a sour green apple twist.

• 1 shot of Bacardi white rum
• 1 shot of Dekuyper Apple Pucker
• 2 sprigs of fresh mint, with another for garnish
• Sprite or 7-Up*
• ice
• lime wedge
• (optional) additional lime wedge or slice of green apple for garnish

Gently muddle the mint in the bottom of a tall glass. Squeeze in juice from the lime and toss in the wedge. Add several ice cubes. Pour in the Bacardi and Pucker, then add lemon-lime soda to almost fill the glass. Garnish the top with a small sprig of mint, and if desired a wedge of lime or green apple slice on the rim.

*Club soda can be substituted if you prefer a less sweet version.



Hex on the Beach- shot

A Shammy variation of the cocktail "Sex on the Beach"

• 1 part cranberry flavored vodka
• 1 part peach schnapps
• 1 part blue curacao
• 1 gummy frog for garnish

Put the gummy frog in the bottom of the shot glass, pour in cranberry vodka and peach schnapps. Over the back of a small spoon, slowly and carefully pour in the blue curacao to achieve the layered affect.

One small word of caution: be careful not to choke on the frog when you take the shot...in fact, you may want to remove it right before you do. Those suckers are slippery!

We have a list of World of Warcraft themed drinks (already named) that just need some testing, then I will get started on posting the recipes.

A few notes:

• Most drinks on this site will be alcoholic...if you are under the legal drinking age, please do not make any of the drinks that contain alcohol. Non-alcoholic drinks will be posted from time to time and will be specified as such.
• Remember: Drinking + gaming = fun (as long as you are of legal age), Drinking + driving = NEVER a good idea. Be responsible.
• World of Warcraft and all related themes are the intellectual property of Blizzard Entertainment. We are merely paying homage by combining our love of cocktails with our love of Blizzard's wonderful game.
• As far as I know, these drink are my own original concoctions or variations of classic drinks and will be noted as such...any relation to anyone else's recipes/ideas is coincidental or the recipe author will be given credit.
• For the sake of your raid leader's sanity (and your liver), don't show up to a run too smashed to get out of the fire!
